Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to provide, such as an email address submitted for the buying checklist or newsletter, information included in an email, and a sauna-planning request you explicitly submit. A planning request can include your first name, email, optional phone number, ZIP or region, budget, timeline, project requirements, and notes. We also collect standard usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referral source, and interactions with links and forms.

How We Use Information

We use information to deliver requested resources, operate and improve the site, understand which guides and links are useful, prevent abuse, respond to messages, and measure affiliate and campaign performance. We do not ask analytics providers to store names, email addresses, phone numbers, or free-form lead details.

Service Providers

We currently use Google Analytics for site measurement, Kit for email signup and delivery, Cloudflare Workers and D1 for secure planning-request receipt and storage, and affiliate or retailer platforms for link attribution. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Submitting a newsletter form sends the address to Kit. Project-request details are not sent to Google Analytics.

Cookies

This site may use cookies for analytics purposes. Amazon and other affiliate partners may also set cookies on your device when you click affiliate links. We do not control third-party cookies.

Affiliate Links

This site participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and other affiliate programs. When you click a product link, the retailer may set tracking cookies to attribute your purchase. We receive a commission if you make a qualifying purchase.

This site contains links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Choices and Retention

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser. We retain planning requests while they are being reviewed and for up to 12 months afterward for follow-up, duplicate prevention, and program measurement, unless a longer period is legally required. You may ask us to delete a request sooner.

Data Sharing

We do not sell homeowner information through an automated marketplace. We may share a submitted project with one relevant sauna seller or installer only when you separately select the partner-sharing option and after a manual fit review. We record whether that consent was given. We may also share limited data with service providers that operate the site, with affiliate platforms when you follow a tracked link, or when required by law.
