Almost Heaven
Almost Heaven currently describes a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on the sauna room. Its FAQ excludes normal wear, rot, discoloration, and minor lumber splintering, and lists separate Harvia heater periods. Confirm the full terms, shipping costs, retailer responsibility, and ordered components.
Redwood Outdoors
Redwood Outdoors currently publishes a one-year wooden-sauna warranty for qualifying material or workmanship defects. The terms exclude freight damage, improper storage or installation, normal wear, weather events, environmental exposure inconsistent with intended use, and listed third-party costs. Thermowood is not a maintenance-free shortcut
Thermal modification changes wood properties, but it does not erase site design or maintenance. The International ThermoWood Association's 2025 handbook says untreated ThermoWood remains drier than unmodified timber when weather-exposed, while still recommending surface treatment against humidity, erosion, and ultraviolet radiation. It especially calls out warm and humid climates.
The handbook also warns against direct contact with soil or water. Ask Redwood Outdoors for the exact material designation, finish system, base details, care schedule, and warranty-compatible treatment. Ask Almost Heaven the same questions for the selected cedar or finished configuration.
