Almost Heaven Pinnacle: a buyer's review before you order
Reviewed August 15, 2026 · 9 min read
The short answer
The Pinnacle belongs on the shortlist for buyers who want a compact, USA-made cedar barrel kit and can prepare a level base plus a dedicated 240V circuit. It is a weaker fit if you expect four adults to lounge comfortably, need an insulated cabin for severe weather, or want a turnkey price that already includes every site and electrical cost.

What the capacity label does not tell you
"Four person" is a maximum-capacity label. The published benches are 63.25 inches long and 16 inches wide. That measurement is more useful than the label when you decide whether people will sit shoulder to shoulder or whether one person can lie down.
Mark the bench length on a wall or floor before ordering. If the intended users are tall, want to recline, or need more personal space, compare a longer model rather than assuming the stated capacity will feel roomy.
What is included, and what still needs planning
Almost Heaven currently lists tempered glass, stainless steel bands and fasteners, an interior LED light, and sauna stones among the product features. The configurator offers different doors, windows, finishes, and heater packages, so the final price and included equipment depend on the selected variant.
Budget beyond the kit
- A flat, load-appropriate foundation or platform.
- A licensed electrician for the exact heater manual, circuit, disconnect, and local code.
- Freight access, unloading, and movement from the delivery point to the pad.
- Assembly labor if you do not plan to build the kit yourself.
- Exterior protection and maintenance appropriate to the finish and climate.
- Permits or zoning review where your jurisdiction requires them.
Electrical and heater decision
The manufacturer currently specifies a 6kW heater configuration requiring 240V, 30A service and a hardwired connection. Do not turn that summary into a shopping list. The selected heater manual and local code determine conductor size, overcurrent protection, disconnect placement, controls, clearances, and any GFCI requirement.
Send the exact heater model, manual, and planned cable route to the electrician before the sauna ships. This is the cleanest way to catch panel-capacity or trenching problems while there is still time to change the project.
Use the sauna electrical planning checklist
Assembly and site preparation
Almost Heaven publishes a construction manual and describes most of its saunas as DIY-friendly. That does not establish a universal assembly time. Crew experience, foundation accuracy, delivery access, weather, and the selected doors or windows all change the job.
Read the manual before preparing the base. Match the foundation to the current cradle layout, keep the sauna level, and leave access for band adjustment and exterior maintenance. For electrical work, follow the heater manual and use a qualified installer.

Warranty: read the two layers separately
Almost Heaven currently advertises a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on the sauna room. Its product page separately states a one-year warranty on Harvia heating elements and five years on other heater components. Coverage, exclusions, registration, labor, freight, and remedies matter more than the headline duration.
Save the warranty version, product configuration, serial information, invoice, and installation records that apply on the purchase date.
Questions to resolve before checkout
- Which lumber, door, window, finish, and heater are included in this exact price?
- What are the packed dimensions, freight method, unloading responsibility, and current lead time?
- Which current construction and heater manuals apply to the chosen configuration?
- Will the 63.25-inch benches work for the intended users?
- What foundation dimensions and drainage details does the current manual require?
- Which warranty exclusions apply to outdoor exposure, finish maintenance, installation, and electrical work?
- Who handles a damaged shipment or missing component, and how quickly must it be reported?
Our verdict
Shortlist the Pinnacle when its bench dimensions, electrical load, foundation, and delivered configuration fit the project. Do not buy it from the capacity label or sale price alone. The strongest next step is to compare a written total-project budget against one longer barrel and one insulated cabin alternative.
