The Pinnacle 4-Person — Best Buy
This is the model most people should buy. The "4-person" label is generous — it fits 4 people in a squeeze, 2-3 comfortably. For a couple or solo use, it is spacious. Assembly takes a full day for two people but nothing about it is complicated: staves slot into channels, hardware is standard, and the instructions are clear.
Pros
- Western red cedar throughout
- Pre-cut, pre-drilled — no major cuts needed
- Good price-to-quality ratio
- Ships via Amazon, fast delivery
- Widely available replacement parts
Cons
- Heater not included
- Thinner staves than Dundalk
- Hardware is functional but basic
- Capacity labels run optimistic
The 6-Person — For Families
The 6-person model has a noticeably larger bench layout — two full-length benches where people can lie down rather than sit. If you regularly sauna with 3+ people or want to lie down and stretch out, this is the right model. It requires an 8kW heater (vs 6kW for the Pinnacle) and takes longer to preheat, but the extra space is the kind of thing owners are happy they paid for.
Which Heater to Pair With It
Almost Heaven does not make their own heaters. The pairing most installers and owners recommend is Harvia KIP:
- Pinnacle (4-person): Harvia KIP 60B (6kW) — sized exactly right
- 6-Person: Harvia KIP 80B (8kW) — handles the larger volume
Harvia is Finnish-made, UL-listed for the US, and widely available. See our Harvia heater review and heater sizing guide for more detail.
Harvia KIP 60B — ~$579
The standard pairing for the Pinnacle. Finnish-made, UL-listed, holds 33 lbs of stones. Ships separately from Amazon.

- Foundation: Gravel pad or concrete deck blocks — the kit cannot sit on bare ground. See our gravel pad guide.
- Electrical: Dedicated 240V circuit (20-30A depending on heater). Budget $800-$1,500 for electrician install.
- Heater: $500-$650 for Harvia KIP.
- Stones: ~$40-$80 for a bag of olivine stones. See our sauna stones guide.
- Accessories: Bucket, ladle, thermometer — see our accessories guide.
Almost Heaven vs Dundalk LeisureCraft
Both are legitimate brands. The differences come down to budget and how long you want the sauna to last:
- Almost Heaven: Better value, easier to find, solid 15-20 year lifespan. Good for most buyers.
- Dundalk LeisureCraft: Canadian-made, thicker staves, heavier hardware, 25-30+ year lifespan. Worth the premium if this is a permanent installation.
